This class is a requirement for all prospective members. Current members are also welcome. The classroom portion reviews safe handling and operation of a firearm, covers rules and regulations of the Club and operation of the building and range. There is also an informal Bullseye relay to familiarize candidates with the course of fire since this relay is what takes place for the 3 "safety shoots" that are required.

THE RANGE IS OPEN TO MEMBERS during both the classroom and range portions. During the informal Bullseye relay, which has turning targets, members may participate in the relay or place their targets at less than 50 feet to avoid having their targets turn.
